Garlic Fried Rice

I adore preparing fried rice since it is a one pan meal that both children and adults appreciate. Chicken Fried Rice, Basil Fried Rice, and Chicken Fried Rice are three more of our family's favorite fried rice dishes. If you haven't tried fried rice before, I strongly advise you to do so using one of our recipes. It will be tastier and simpler than you could have dreamed!

  • Garlic Preparation: A Step-by-Step Guide Fried Rice with Leftover Rice: Make fried rice using leftover cooked rice from the day before.

  • Rice that has been left out for a day is drier and tougher than newly cooked rice, so it won't turn mushy when stir fried. If you're using fresh cooked rice, lay it out on a dish and chill it for a few hours before adding it to your stir fry.

The best rice to use for this recipe

To produce the fluffy egg, beat the eggs in a bowl first, then cook them in a skillet with 1-2 tablespoons of oil, pushing them to one side to make room for the rice. To keep things simple, I simply use one egg in this recipe however, you may add more chicken, sausage, or prawns if desired.

Crispy Garlic: To produce crispy garlic flakes, slice the garlic thinly and fried till light brown and crispy. I use 5-6 garlic bulbs since I like the garlicky flavor. You may modify the quantity of garlic to your preference. Remove the garlic flakes from the pan and continue cooking the egg and rice with the remaining oil.

To make the umami flavorful garlic fried rice, I use light soy sauce, oyster sauce, fresh ground black pepper, sesame oil, and salt to taste. To create fried rice, choose oil that has a neutral or moderate flavor. Peanut oil, canola oil, sunflower oil, grapeseed oil, or vegetable oil are all good options.

Step-by-Step Instructions

To begin, thinly slice the garlic and spring onions With 1- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, heat a skillet and stir cook the garlic till light golden brown. Set aside the garlic flakes after straining them from the pan.
